Andreia Fernandes

Author , playwright , choreographer , director and drama teacher . She began her career in theater in 1983 at O Tablado Tablado . She worked with Maria Clara Machado and Carlos Wilson Damião, and she teachs classes of improvisation and body expression .  She was Nelly Laport’s assistant and participated in the musical O Corsário do Rei , by Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo , direction Augusto Boal , with Marco Nanini in the cast,  in 1985 .She worked with Jose Lavigne , Grupo Tapa, Luiz Carlos Tourinho, Fabianna Mello Souza, among others .

Since 1987 , she writes and directs her own texts. Andreia was nominated for the Mambembe Award , Revelation category by the spectacle Ribnide – A circus history, which she was author and director. Noel – Poet of the Village , which she was the author, director and producer , with Marcelo Serrado on the cast , had a great success season  in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, between 1998 and 2000 . In 2001 , continuing her work on musicals, rescuing brazilian history through the great names of Brazilian music , she received an award from the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, through RIOARTE , with the musical Ismael Silva – A History of Samba . In 2004 , the musical Ambulant Metamorphosis, about Raul Seixas, also of her own production , and had great success at Teatro Ipanema and Teatro do Jockey , in Rio de Janeiro and Niterói.  Her last success as director was the spectacle Dream of a Summer Night , W. Shakespeare, at Teatro Ipanema, in 2007. As a playwright , unpublished works are: Tangor, argument of Jaime Arôxa, the subject is the tango; and Kid Morengueira – Olha o breque!, about Moreira da Silva.

As an author, she won the SEI Prize for Literature , sponsored by the company Petróleo Ipiranga , with the story Cyclone and won the First National Contest Sul Info for small tales, in 2012, with Dreams .
